There are words that smatter*

One's kindest intentions that matter.

 

I wish you well

I wish you ill.

 

Well and ill, two words that sound similar

yet if confounded are apt to be an injurer.

 

Sometimes it is very difficult to speak well

enough to avoid the ill.

* Smatter means to babble but babble did not rhyme.  :-)
