It used to be that children were the main participants for the evening of Halloween, dressing up as pirates, princesses, animals, aliens, and remarkable home-made inspirations. Now the season for witchery seems to be year-round, with adults immersed in delusions of magic getting down* as witches and warlocks. This is a mistake for obvious reasons, it is evil, it is misery, and it does not work. Magic is for lunatics.
