God's Curtains

As we live and die in God's terrarium*, almost every little bit of life living in pain and fear, with precious little joy and hope for comfort, forced to eat other little bits of life in order to live, the gentle cow eating the tender grain, the sad human eating almost everything in accordance with God's design of us, I wonder what God is thinking. Why has God drawn curtains over His mind against us? Hubris in a mirror? Or shame for having created such a cycle of pain and fear?

The last time we were accessed seems to have been due to wickedness in the world for which God drowned most of us with Noah's Flood as recorded in the Bible, Genesis, chapters 6-9. That must have been terribly painful and fearful.
