Bits And Pieces

My little senior citizen apartment, subsidized by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, is blessed with a coat closet, a pantry, a linen closet, and a wonky clothes closet sized for the little person who lived in this apartment before me. I can manage with this storage space, although I do wish that management would keep the promise that they have made to me twice in the two years that I have lived here and put in a clothes closet bar at standard level so that my slacks, shirts, jackets, dresses, gowns, and whatnot do not drag on the floor.
Today I sorted out the linen closet, putting my sheets, bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and my bath mats with the funny, fat, little human footprints on a more convenient shelf, and putting bits and pieces of toiletries, medicines, etcetera to be fitted back into the linen closet in piles on my living room rug to be sorted later after I have rested. Hopefully, I can simply dispose of some of them.
Then I rewarded myself by creating this abstract artwork of shapes and colors. Maybe it expresses the bits and pieces that I am sorting into the spaces in life that are still allotted to me. Every day I count my blessings and I know that I am truly blessed. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. I will see you later, hopefully much later.
