My comment was deleted, but this is what I said online:

Because the American population is diverse, China could use their extensive database of American DNA to tailor viruses to specific populations, like diseases that affect specific groups, e.g. Whites more likely to suffer cystic fibrosis, Blacks more likely to suffer sickle cell disease, and Asians more likely to suffer rare autoimmune disease. Or China could find a common denominator and develop a virus weapon that takes out everyone, White, Black, Asian American... I certainly hope I am wrong.

"Bioweapon" is not in Microsoft's software spellcheck dictionary. I suppose we are all pretending that it cannot happen—again.
