Edgelord

I did not know this word, edgelord* until today. It sounds like fun. Billionaire Edgelord Elon Musk certainly seems to be having fun with his new acquisition of Twitter.com and his immediate firing of chief officers, with more to go. Edge on Elon! Not everyone can edge at the grandmaster level like Elon. Saucy, seemingly insouciant, but in actuality laser-focused with touch of kindness. Have to admire that.

* Edgelord came from the adjective edgy, meaning at the forefront of a trend; experimental, or avant-garde. "An edgelord is Internet-community (gaming) slang for someone who's cultivated an "edgy" persona, usually with a high degree of nihilistic sentiment and behavior. Contextually, it's often used to imply this edgy persona is so ridiculous that it rings hollow — an act, a front, a form of trolling. That's per Bing, but this definition sounds like sour grapes because most people cannot edge. Some cannot even understand it, but edging is very, very funny.
