Perplexity

Today I installed Perplexity* on my phone.  My resistance to AI was overcome by its free and easy availability to satisfy my low level curiosity.  Will it gobble up huge amounts of my time and attention like game apps did when I first played them?  Well, I want to keep pace with the world, as best I can, to the end.  So I am in.  Already I have adjusted Perplexity from its initial high squeaky voice designed to attract men and mice, to a mature male with well-modulated voice that is too attractive.  It has been my habit to watch news and documentaries on TV in the evenings after dinner, and to look up people or concepts on my phone when I want to know more.  Now I will not have to type, I can just speak my questions.  Seductive.
