Blatantly Biased On-line Search Results

When a friend commented today, "Googling doesn't seem as beneficial as last year, but it eventually works." I realized that Google had gotten blatantly political in 2025 and we all were troubled by it.
In 2026, if I ask Google the simplest question, thinking that I am going to get a definition or at most the couple-of-words summary which is all that I need, Google selects a bunch of "facts" that suit the upper echelon's narrative (with maybe a few fibs tossed in for flavor) then gives me a biased propaganda paragraph worthy of a fascist state. And we're America! It is not supposed to be like this.
Or Google floods my screen with offers to sell me everything remotely connected to my search word, which is blatantly bad capitalism because I never buy their junk. And I resent having to dig out the ordinary truth of whatever it is that I am seeking.
