Solitude

Rare and valued for its benefits to one's mental, emotional, even to one's physiological health, solitude usual comes in moments that are few and far between. How fortunate I am to have secured ample solitude into my life. I feel gratitude for this. I am glad that I am not forced to live with wild, crazy, mean people. When I live with myself I live with someone upon whom I can depend.

It is said that short-term social isolation, time alone to think and develop, can be as vital as social interaction it is to personal development and ultimately to societal cohesion amongst healthy individuals.
