Four Glass Vases

I think I may have fractured my left thumb when I dropped a soup can on it last year, which makes my thumb less dependable. Anyway, my hands are too unsteady and ache too much to manage these big, beautiful, but heavy glass vases.  I have been afraid of straining my hands when I move the vases around to clean them, or of dropping and breaking the vases, or of cutting myself after I have dropped the vases.  So I gave the vases away.  It was time.
