Forbidden To Women

Random question on the internet:  if I had lived in a time before modern medicine, what do I think would have killed me?  Well, probably childbirth because like almost all other women I would have had almost no choice in the matter of trying to survive relentless, hazardous pregnancies.

But considering further, I would have been most at risk from other people, stupid, superstitious, and suspicious people.  That is because I live outside of what is usual, and for women everywhere and throughout time that has been forbidden to women under the most severe penalties up to and including death.
