Incoming Comet of Death

It is surprisingly difficult to find clear information online about the next comet that scientists predict will deal death to life on Earth. Sometimes the projected impact date is reported in the news as NEXT YEAR!!!, then after letting that sink in for a while they back off and put the doomsday date far enough into the future that it is difficult to work up fear in the present.

Let's see what happens with this report: "Killer Asteroid Hitting Earth In 2022? NASA has identified the course of a killer asteroid named 'Didymos' which will be approaching Earth in October 2022.
