Ageism, Ableism, Diversity, Justice

Now that I am old, I realize in a much more personal way that combating Ageism and Ableism should be a prominent part of Diversity Justice efforts. There is a need for many more young, healthy voices to speak up for the many, many old and/or handicapped people in the world.

Words are fluid in their meaning as humans develop, as of October 8, 2021 Bing defines these terms as:

Ageism - prejudice or discrimination on the grounds of a person's age.

Ableism - discrimination in favor of able-bodied people.

Diversity - diverse, variety, and the practice or quality of including or involving people from a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds and of different genders, sexual orientations, etc.

Justice - just behavior or treatment, the quality of being fair and reasonable, and the administration of the law or authority in maintaining this.
