A Late Afternoon Visitor

R, my reclusive neighbor who lives in the apartment above mine, had a late afternoon male visitor yesterday. 🥶 It might have been M, the maintenance manager for this senior and disabled housing complex, if he was annoyed enough to growl at her for about half an hour. He seemed to be telling R what to do. She responded with 😁 three rather loud, aggression yawns but I didn't hear her say anything at all. It is several hours into this morning and she hasn't tapped on the radiator, not once. (I sort of worry about her when I do not hear her incessant tapping above me, she is quite elderly.) She did not tap when I said good morning to my cat Achilles, not when I ran water to brush my teeth, not when I prepared coffee in the kitchen, not when I simply lay quietly in bed watching the morning news on my tablet. What a blessing it would be if she stopped tapping.

I wonder if M, the very elderly resident who moved in several weeks ago, the one with the handsome, well-dressed brother, had the clout 🤔 to get management to finally tell R to stop tapping on the radiator pipes? They were unable to do it for me.

Oh dear, I wonder if maybe this morning she is just not home. It's only 9 AM, but maybe he took her somewhere?

It would be so wonderful if she stopped that infernal tapping, after more than two years of torturing me with it. then half an hour later she was back at it: tap, tap, tap, tap, tap ... on the radiator pipes. It is almost musical, torture music.
