Chose Your Friends Wisely

My version of an old morality tale:

A little creature was cold, lost, and frightened so it cried out weakly to a big bird flying overhead, "Please be my friend, please help me." The big bird swooped up the little creature and then dropped it into a hot, steaming pile of shit instead of the little creature's home. When the little creature had revived enough in the warmth of the shit to complain, it screamed loud curses at the big bird who had dropped it into shit instead of its home. Another big bird heard the little creature's cries and came near to see what was going on. The little creature cried out to the second bird, "Please be my friend, please help me." And, the second big bird swooped in and ate up the little creature. The moral of the story is to choose your friends wisely.
