Memorial In Honor Of Feminists Who Were Never Nazis—Rush Limbaugh Lied

Recently the media has been derisively catcalling feminists as if they should be held accountable for 21st century social ills regarding women, as if they should have fixed it all before now. My pun is intended, NOW is the National Organization for Women*, a 20th century organization working for the advancement of women in society since 1966.

In response, as my avatar AdroitWaterBear, I posted to One America News Network, July 25, 2019 the following:

OAN Reporter. Stop dumping on feminists (many of whom are now elderly-in their sixties and seventies), because in the mid-twentieth century that braying jacka$$ Rush Limbaugh got het up on drugs and harangued them nationwide by calling them "feminazis"** which equated them with horrific venality; which encouraged other men to do terrible things to some (rapes, beatings, threats, loss of employment) and made all feminists fearful. I know because I was there in those times. Wasn't Rush Limbaugh a powerful little worm to begin the end of an entire women's movement? He did it just by calling them feminazis a zillion times. And Rush Limbaugh made his own personal fortune while undermining women, while stalling society's growth.

* National Organization for Women. NOW’s original mission statement read “The purpose of NOW is to take action to bring women into full participation in the mainstream of American society now, exercising all privileges and responsibilities thereof in truly equal partnership with men…” Source:

** "Feminazi is a pejorative term for feminists, which was popularized by politically conservative American radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh." Source: Wikipedia
