Not As Much Fun As They Said

In my experience to date, getting old and gray is not as much fun as they said it would be. You know, they say it would be, "The Golden Years"? Well, it isn't.

Which by the way is a trick I enjoy playing on young people. You should see the expressions on their faces when I pretend to pout and say, "Getting old is not as much fun as they said it would be."

They think that what I am saying might be funny, they think it might be sadly true, and then they remember that no one ever seriously said that getting old would be fun, then they realize that they themselves had hoped for golden years, not gray. I enjoy seeing this confusion play across their young, beautiful faces. Oh dear, have I turned into a vengeful old shrew, getting even with youth for their youth? Ha. No. I truly love and enjoy seeing young people think and figure things out. I wish them the joy of living forever, healthy and happy with effective treatments for OLD.
