Tweetless—Shadow Banned By Twitter
I set up my Twitter account on May 4, 2018, and today I discovered confirmation (see screen capture below) that my suspicions are true, I am indeed shadow banned by Twitter. I have over two hundred followers, which in and of itself was amazing to me because I did not seek them out. My personal “Twitter goal” had been one hundred followers which I thought were quite a few and might take years to acquire. Now Twitter has shadow banned me for reasons known only to Twitter. I see no daily tweets from my followers which I assume is reciprocal. I have no idea what to do about this.
In frustration, I started tweeting hyperbole: "Shadow banning is bad for the world." "Stop Shadow Banning NOW." "Shadow banning destroys free speech." "Shadow banning is evil." (Is this really exaggeration?) At any rate, within a few weeks Twitter lifted my personal shadow ban. But I will never trust Twitter again.
