Yippy or Dippy?

I lost a pants size, should I feel yippy happy because I am skinnier, or dippy dumb because there is no happiness in losing weight if I am ill (I do have digestive problems) or aging poorly (for example I recently experienced a painful lifetime first of straining my right buttock merely by standing up.)

Concluding life is not just about arranging comfortable cushions and sitting in the sunlight, there are some rough passages. Most people are too delicate to mention them. Maybe I should be also, but I am not. Provoked by annoyance and I have to admit to a small bit of fear and anger, I wonder why the medical profession is not furiously researching for solutions to these sorts of old age problems, especially since every single person on the planet comes to this degenerative point in life, as one approaches the eternal abyss of oblivion. The downward slope may be twenty years, or twenty minutes, one never knows.

On the other hand, maybe it is best that the young stay focused on youthful pursuits and let nature take its course when they themselves run out of youth. My thoughts are in opposition on this, as illustrated by these fishes in opposition.
