Where?

"Where are you from?" is a the trick/trap question. What it really means is that the asker has preconceived notions of people from every place on Earth, and they want to make an easy identification of you by just sliding you into one of their preconceived slots. Once they have you slotted, they may or may not spend enough time with you so that you can extricate yourself back into your true identity.
