My Home Computer System
I bought my home computer system about ten years ago and it has been quite satisfactory. It has required no repairs, the updates are easy, and I have been able to resolve any issues. My computer system is comprised of:
Hewlett-Packard personal computer
Hewlett-Packard printer
external hard drive (for my monthly backup of my digital computer files and images)
external backup battery (In the event of a power outage it gives me over an hour of lights and off-line computer to finish my work.)
modem/router combo, or maybe just a router now — I forget, Wi-Fi has changed a lot over the years.
I have very nice software, including MS Windows 11, Photoshop, and a hodge-podge of nifty free apps
external speakers (They are dinky, maybe I should buy better.)
(I am currently shopping for an external camera, with security features.)
My Samsung mobile phone, and two Kindle Fire Tablets are also part of my system, as they are conveniently synced to my computer. My Samsung HD TV is sort of synced and that is good enough. It offers me more than I could watch in a hundred lifetimes, if I wanted to do that. Which I do not. I subscribe to many channels on YouTube, and I enjoy commenting there along with all the other human beings.
I have now counted my technological blessings, thank you God, for this easy way to connect to the world.
