Is Pain Preferable Or Numbness?

The "good" news is that neuropathy progressing in my limbs has lessened my constant foot and leg pains into deep aches and occasional sharper pain flare-ups. It is much harder to walk on desensitized limbs, puts me at an increased risk to trip and fall, but it is less painful.

Again, this blog is about how it has been to be a twentieth century woman aging into the twenty-first century. So far pain and numbness are significant components.
