When I read to relax and for pleasure, I enjoy science fiction, but please no dragons, zombies, or their ilk which belong in the realms of fantasy, horror, or wherever.
Well-written science fiction does not even have to be particularly realistic to catch my interest, just possessing of characters who have some sort of appeal with sciencey concepts and gizmos. Who knows until tomorrow what creative fiction of the past will turn into true science in the future? It has happened before and it will happen again.
