This Sunday Is Truly My Day Of Rest.

I used to dread coming to Illinois when my parents came here every few years of my childhood, so that my mother could visit her parents in her ineffectual efforts to make them love her; a premonition perhaps. Illinois has been difficult for me, but the handsome land is abundant in the classical sense, and I have made my peace with the people.
