An Old Viking Woman Lived In A New World

I am in good part Norse, so to me it is a romantic notion that a Viking might have been laid to his final rest in his ship equipped with his weapons and amour, all set ablaze, and pushed out to sea to begin the journey to the afterlife. This blog will be my verbal Viking ship set ablaze in words, pushed out into the seas of history; the last of me, but the first of an ordinary old woman’s final years on record. Has this ever been recorded before? It is an honor to stand before history in this way.
